Nasa Releases Dramatic New Sun Pictures
The images were taken by Nasa's Solar Dynamics Observatory.
The satellite, which carries four telescopes along with a plethora of other hi-tech equipment, will examine the Sun's magnetic field and its impact on the Earth's atmosphere and climate.
Solar flares are known to affect the world's weather, knock out power supplies and affect navigational equipment.
Madhulika Guhathakurta, the mission's programme scientist at Nasa, said: "It is the most comprehensive view of the Sun.
"When you see the whole Sun, it is showing connections we have never seen before."
The £522m million observatory will operate for at least five years.

Alam Semesta- suatu Bukti Kekuasaan Allah

Inilah bumi tempat tinggal kita. Tempat kita dilahirkan, membesar, bekerja, bermain dan bersuka ria. Disinilah kita berkongsi udara, air, makanan dan segalanya-galanya sepanjang kita hidup sehinggalah ajal menjemput kita.
This is our Home. All of us live, love, wage wars, spend our entire lifetimes here.

Our Sun is just a tiny speck compared to other stars! Hard to even make out in the picture with the Sun just 1 pixel wide. Jupiter becomes invisible at this scale.

Milky Way- Sistem Galaksi kita.
There are 200-400 billion stars in the Milky Way. The stellar disk of the Milky Way Galaxy is approximately 100,000 light-years in diameter, and is considered to be, on average, about 1,000 ly thick. Our Milky Way galaxy is small compared to other galaxies. Our neighbouring Andromeda Galaxy has over one trillion stars!
